Power Sensor/Aircon Shutdown

Hi! I would like to ask if its possible if we could position our Power sensor before the UPS? So once the power is down automatically it will alert the IT staff prior to UPS downtime. On that sense they will have a ample time to prevent the power downtime..
One thing, our client was asking if its possible if we could monitor automatically that the aircon was shutdown?
