Email Alerts

We have installed and setup the ServerCheck temp sensors. When we test the email configuration, everything works. When we heat up the sensor it will not send the alert to the email address but everything works fine with the test email.

1.How long does the temp have to be above the setting to send the email alert?

2.What else would stop the sensor from sending the email alert out?

We have sent the alert at <5 and >5 and had the temp over 25 degrees from normal and it still will not sent an email.

It seems like you have your range set incorrectly.

Less than is the lower threshold level. For example <65°F will alert you if the temperature drops below 65°F

Greater than is the upper threshold level. For example >120°F will alert you if the temperature goes above 120°F

Thank you so much for your post. Your information was correct. We were thinking that the value was the difference between +/- than the current value.
