DCIM temperature maps

Hi there

I have a question - on your website are these rich and dynamically colored temperature maps - and so based on that we bought this software.

The reality of these temperature maps leaves a lot to be desired. They don't look a thing like the images on the website, and I'm curious if there's something that I need to do to make them display information as advertised, or if this was just your web designers taking liberties.

Thanks for any light anyone can shed on this.

Heat maps will depend on the setup and number of sensors you have.

    1) Number of temperature points. At a rack level, ASHRAE - industry standard - defines 6 temperature sensors per rack. We and Gartner recommend at least 3 per rack. Then you need to look at the sensors for ambient monitoring.

    2) Size (radius) depending on how you define and/or represent each point

As a summary, heat maps will be totally unique for every site and/or deployment.

How many sensors do you have deployed?
