NTP updates are wrong (date and time)

I have several Temperature and Sensor Gateways but only one reacts very strangely to the ntp updates and sets the following values:

Device Information Settings

Current System Date : 06/11/20F9

Current System Time : 93:84:52

Hardware Version : Release 2.0

Firmmware Version : Release 1.3

Interface Type : RS232

Product Name : Temperature & SensorGateway

Product ID : SC-TS01

It's set on time zone 2 (CEST) and the time is set correctly when I click the update button on the SNTP setup page, but it get screwed again with other strange values after a while.

Thanks and regards,

Motoo

    Hello,

Is your orange light solid or is it flashing?
  • tanakmottanakmot
Do you mean the Online led on the front or the LAN one on the top?
  • AdministratorAdministrator
    Helo,

The one on top that says Online.
  • tanakmottanakmot
    It's not blinking, solid On

    Hello,

Which server are you using? I'm trying to traceback and see if it is a bug with that particular server or just in general.
  • tanakmottanakmot
the servers I'm using are all internal ntp servers.

Those ntps are working for all the other temperature gateways I have, only one is not working.

Can you tell me what the firmware they are all using? Are they all on 1.3?
  • tanakmottanakmot
    yes, there all 1.3

I would like to send you the screnn dump, how can I do that?

I'm also experiencing this issue. One of our temperature sensors will have the time drift over the course of two or three hours, until it reaches a similar time to the original post. Even before it reaches this point, the date can be off by a few days. Is there any update on the cause of this issue?

    Thanks

    Hello,

We are testing out a new firmware release that will address this. When we have ensured it causes no further problems, we will update this thread and post the new firmware.

Where are the firmware updates posted on the website?
  • AdministratorAdministrator
The firmware has not yet been released. It is currently in testing with limited number of customers.
