Hi



we have installed serverscheck monitoring system Version 8.0.9 nevertheless, we were not able to send alerts via email. but when i try to test email we received it, There is an antivirus software (Symantec) running in the server. The client doesn't want to remove the antivirus. is there any other way we can work it out? please advise...thanks!!

    Most probably Symantec AV is blocking the sending of the emails.



    If you want to see what happens on the email side then you need to run the web server in debug mode and send a test email.



    The Monitoring Service output you posted is useless in this case as it is only for checks being made.



    Alerts being sent can be monitored in debug mode through the alerting module.



    Best way to prove that the AV is the culprit is to stop it and then test if it works. If so, then they need to contact Symantec to solve the issue.
