Reading SNMP data from several devices

Hello,



Within the MIB I want to read the SNMP data "SysDescr" not only from one device with one IP address, but the "SysDescr" of several devices within an IP range, e.g. from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.10. Is that possible without entering every single IP and hitting "GO"?

If yes, is there a problem when there are IPs missing in between?

It is not possible to enter an IP range for the SNMP check

Is there a possibility to write some kind of batch or macro to put in the IP address as a parameter?

Or is there no way of reading several devices somehow automated?

You can use the EXTERNAL check type and create your own script to achieve that
