Disk i/o

Hi,



I created a virtual machine (Vmware) and installed Serverscheck.



It works fine but this VM generates a lot of disk i/o (about 80/second).



Is it normal? How can I reduce them???

    That is normal. You can reduce them reducing the number of threads you use.

    I checked my config and I only use 3 threads ...



    As I could see, I can not put less!

    Check with VMWare because ServersCheck does not generate 80 writes per second unless you are running 80 threads in parallel where you could have 80 writes per second.
