Temp Sensor Invalid MAC

Hello, recently I sent in a non-functional PoE gateway that we recently purchased
Problem 1) Unit would not boot. This has been fixed now and it will boot.
Problem 2) Unit has invalid MAC address from factory. This has NOT been fixed and now we will likely have to send this back in for replacement.
The MAC address of this unit shown in the GUI and via arp-a on any linux host is: FF:FF:FF:FF:03:E8
Having a MAC address that starts with FF:FF:FF is not legal and network switches will not switch this traffic. This makes the unit unusable for us. The MAC address changing utility only affects the host portion of the address and not the manufacturer code at the start.
What are my next steps here now?

All units are tested prior to shipping after repair. It must have slipped.
A new unit is on its way to you. Once you received it, you can return this unit (via Canada Post air mail) using the same RMA instructions as for the initial repair.
