ServersCheck Website on XP

mvoglermvogler
I have ServersCheck installed on an XP Pro SP1 machine. I have serverscheck running fine. The default page works fine: "http://localhost:1272. I would like to be able to access the site from another machine. When I try http://<myservername>:1272, I am prompted with the windows window "connect to" requesting username/password. How can I prevent that prompt from coming up?

Thanks for your help.

This can not be prevented and it will always show as a security measure. You can define the password through

ADMIN > Admin Username & Password

Only when locally accessing it, it does not request authentication.

Another option, when using Internet Explorer, is to have check the option to remember username & password when being prompted for it.
