prioritise rules?

I'm running the Professional version with 31 rules defined. I have one rule checking every 30 secs on the availability of one of our gateways, and other rules depend on it. However, when I did a test on unplugging this gateway, the other rules are set to DOWN before the gateway is checked, even though they are run every 5 mins. It would have been ideal for the gateway ping check to run before the other rules.

Is there any way to make it check the gateway first (make it higher priority), so I'm not checking for other rules, when this one is DOWN?

Change the order in your serverscheck.conf as rules are executed in the order they appear in there.

Thanks. I'll try that & get back to you on the results.

It's looking like it's behaving a bit more now that I've also refined the checking times (some of the checks only run every 30 mins).

The gateway check is reporting DOWN early in the checks & halting those processes relying on it.
