6.2.1 Alert Time not correct

DiegoDiego
HI,

I have installed 6.2.1 MX4 on a Windows Server 2003.

The time showed me on the mail received is wrong

For a ping rule failed I receive always the date March 24.

For a HTTP rule faile I receive always the date MArch 30.

The date on the server is correct and also the date showed in the alarm inside the web application.

Also the date in the SMTP server is correct.

Can you help? is a very big issue for us.

Thanks

Diego

what are the emails? can you copy paste them in a reply with the email headers?
  • DiegoDiego
This is a message received today

status of STATUS CLIENTI.RIVOIRAGAS.IT (WEB SITES - CLIENTI.RIVOIRAGAS.IT) changed to DOWN at Fri Mar 24 11:28:58 2006. Reason: 500 was the status code returned; expected code: 200 .
  • AdministratorAdministrator
This is not exactly what I meant with the email headers.

Now in the interface, what was the last down time (so how long has it been down for) and what is the alert level defined (all down cycles/each status change etc...)
  • DiegoDiego
This happens for all the rules.

    This rule in particular have:

Number of fails before rule fails 1

Minimum interval between 2 checks 1800 sec

Interval when status is down 1800 sec

    Alert only when down

Last downtime happend at 12:29 today and was down for 1 hour
  • AdministratorAdministrator
Has that rule ever been up? What is the log file for that rule?

Can you please send the email headers for the alert email?

    Similar to:

    FROM:

    SUBJECT:

    DATE:

    ...
  • DiegoDiego
New: this happens only for the escaleted mail!!

    FROM:serverscheck_alert@serverscheck.com

    To: Diego_digitali@praxair.com

    Date: 04/04/2006

  • AdministratorAdministrator
So the incorrect date is only for the escalated alerts and not for the other normal alerts?
  • DiegoDiego
    Yes, correct.

    Only for the escaleted.

The same alert for the same rule that arrive at the first notification team has the correct date and time.

To me the escaleted time and date are always 24 or 30 march
  • AdministratorAdministrator
Can you please give me the email headers of such an escalated email.
