6.3.x alerts

I'm trying to configure an Enterprise MX2 installation and I cannot change the alerts from "All down and on each status change" to "All down". Every time I do try to change it, the change is ignored.

any ideas?

Are you sure that the page is not being cached by your browser?

You can always manually edit the serverscheck.conf file and modify it in there (as a last resort).

If you contact the helpdesk and if your system is remotely accessible, then they can take a look at it.

In order for us to debug an issue, we need to be able to replicate it (or to see it).

I can confirm there's no caching on my browser. Would it help if I sent the serverscheck.conf file?

Sending the Serverscheck.conf file wouldn't help.

We need remote access to the machine in order to replicate it.

    Do you have 6.3.4 running?
  • derrenwderrenw
    Yes I'm running 6.3.4.

Just checked the conf file and it is correctly set to 'All Down' or 'Each Status Change' as required, but the GUI says 'All Down and On Each Status Change', so I guess it will work OK.

If you still want remote access I may set something up, but I'll contact you via email for that.
