cant check remote process on workgroup?!

hi,



i am using the freeware version and try to check an EXE process on a remote server. servers are in the same subnet connected to the same router and in the same Workgroup (not domain!). (both windows servers 2003)



i have configured everything as instructed by you and by the article at

when i test with empty or wring username and password i get this:



Error returned: Error : [70] Permission denied



when i enter the correct user and password for the remote server (administrator) i get this:



Error returned: Error : [-2147023174] The RPC server is unavailable



Why?



What should i check ?



when i check this between 2 servers in the same NT domain it works fine even without a username and password



when this works i can recommend my boss to buy this product.

    A configuration on DCOM or RPC must be incorrect.



    It is impossible to debug such a situation remotely. If you followed the instructions in the knowledge base article and it works with 2 servers in the same NT domains, then something must be blocking or be different causing the reported error.

    give me a clue what to check or change in the remote server
