Error connecting to x.x.x.x. Error -2147024891: Access is denied



Pls advise

This means that the ServersCheck computer is not authorized to perform the Windows based check on the remote computer.

I got this message as well when I installed the eval version to run some more tests. I have not made any config changes or checks...Like I said, it is a new install and this is the first time tring to load with this. I have installed the eval on another machine and it works fine.



Ideas?

You need to configure the ServersCheck Monitoring service to run under a sys admin account.
