Device scanning within Device properties

JGranborgJGranborg
Scan device finds several well defined rules, but when using the buttom Add seleced rules, after selecting some rules, the program responds with at popup stating that checks have been added to the monitoring software.

Sorry actually nothing happens.

But I have to say - this is a really great feature - so hang on -

Have you checked your serverscheck.conf file? It might be a refresh issue.

If not, then could you run the s-server.exe from the command prompt and repeat the steps and send the me the command prompt output?

1/ Stop the ServersCheck Configuration server

2/ Go to the main ServersCheck directory

3/ Start the s-server.exe from the command prompt

    4/ Repeat the steps

You might think I´m far avay. Doing as stated. Closing the ServersCheck configuration service.

Starting your s-server.exe redirecting output to a file

Browsing to the mintoring site - scanning - adding - it all works.

Setting it back to the service

It doesnt work again, or doesn´t add the monitoring rules.

So actually no help from the output, but something with the service.

    What to do next ?

Otherwise could you send us following (leave the password info blank): the url of the frame where you receive the message (popup) that the checks have been added.

This would enable us to simulate it.

No - it runs using the lokal systemaccount

The issue has been found. It is due to the fact that the service runs not from a specific directory whereas from the command prompt it does.

Download the s-server.zip from following url and let me know if it works now:
