IE Display Stops

MartynKMartynK
We have our system running exclusively on a high end PC with about 150 check's and all runs fine with the exception of:-

If we leave the PC displaying the status screen, after a while it stops updating and we have to restart IE. We can leave the screen running from another PC without any issues.

Anyone with any ideas ?

    2 questions:

1/ What version are you running of ServersCheck?

2/ What version of IE are you running?
  • MartynKMartynK
The version is 6.4.1 and its a fully patched version if IE6.

As I said, it only stops on the actual serverscheck machine.

    Thanks for the help

Try using IE7 or Firefox instead. It seems to be a browser issue on the local system.

As HTML is rendered in the same way regardless if it is viewed locally or remotely and as it only happens on the actual ServersCheck machine, the problem seems to be your browser.

Company policy stops be installing these browsers at the moment as they have issues with other software.

Both machines, the one running ServersCheck and the remote one have identical (Ghost) builds of Windows XP Pro running, so I don't see how it can be an IE issue.

    Any other ideas ?

    Thanks again

It is browser related and if you have to stick with the current one, then please contact Microsoft for technical support so that they fix the issue on the browser. They will tell you to upgrade to IE7...
