Event Log Query

I just want to clarify ServersCheck's behaviour with the EVENTLOG check.



Previous posts in the forum state that when an event occurs that triggers an alert in ServersCheck, the alert stays until the event is removed from the event log.

i.e. you need to clear the event log to clear the alert.



I have downloaded the current trial version of SC, and I see that there is an "Only scan event log for entries recorded for the past x hours" field.

After a bit of playing about, I don't think that this field actually does anything.



How is it supposed to work?

    Event Log alert is only cleared after the event log is cleared. Nothing has changed on that part.



    The "Only scan for" option allows to scan event logs for the last X time while ignoring older ones.
