when viewing log files, how come that the names are not significant, for example 1102608600.log, 1102608786.log, 1102608982.log, 1102610239.log, 1102620051.log, etc. What are these names ?

The names are the EPOCH time stamp of when they have been created. EPOCH is the time in seconds since 1/1/1970

Not very practical, but OK, thanks.

It allows to sort them alphabetically...

I understand the sort possibility.
Maybe it would be possible to display the full date and time next to the log file name ?
Administrator
I have added this as a feature request and it will be included in our next week's scheduled maintenance release

The number of log files is daily growing.
Do you have some advices for managing these files ?
Administrator
We have users cycling them automatically with backup software or you could use a batch script to delete them for example every week.
It should not be a problem when it runs on a dedicated computer with sufficient disk space. They grow with a few kb's per day (depending on the number of checks).
